The laparoscopic exposure of the sacral roots and the pelvic splanchnic nerves in women during radical pelvic surgery – feasibi

چکیده
Introduction The nervi splanchnici pelvini were first described as nervi erigentes by Eckhardt in 1863 (1). Since this time, the neuroanatomy of the pelvic plexus using cadaveric microdissection and serial histologic sectioning in human fetuses or using the immunohistochemy technique has been well explored. With the introduction of laparoscopy into the field of pelvic retroperitoneal surgery, laparoscopic exposure and dissection to all pelvic somatetic and autonomous nerves has become possible (2) and intraoperative elaboration of an functional cartography of the inferior hypogatsric plexus using the LAparoscopic Neuro-Navigation LANN-technique (2) was established. In the actual work we report on our anatomical findings concerning the laparoscopic exposure and electrostimulation of the sacral nerves roots in their endopelvic portion and of the pelvic splanchnic nerves in women during laparoscopic pelvic surgery.

Introduction Since improvment of the telemedicine allows magnification effect and optimal conditions of dissection even in the deepness of the pelvic retroperitoneum, laparoscopic surgery is becoming one of the most usefull and important instrument for learning the pelvic retroperitoneal anatomy. Laparoscopic exposure of all pelvic nerves 10 becam feasable routinely 1 and use of Laparoscopic Ne...

Sir,—In their article on visceral pain during Caesarean section, Hirabayashi and colleagues [1] stated that “The spread of analgesia in all patients was almost comparable”. However, although the upper limit of spread of spinal amethocaine was measured, no attempt was made to define the lower limit of spread. Exteriorization of the uterus may lead to traction on the pelvic viscera, and pain in t...

BACKGROUND Some patients have pelvic, pudendal, or low lumbar pain radiating into the legs that is worse while sitting but differs from pudendal neuralgia. The purpose of this study was to present a new clinical entity of neuropathic pelvic pain by pelvic neuro-vascular entrapment. OBJECTIVES To report about the locations of predilection for pelvic neurovascular entrapment. STUDY DESIGN Pro...
